New City is 95% Leased
(WARSAW, POLAND) – Hines, the international real estate company, is pleased to announce the expansions and prolongations of lease agreements in the New City office building. The 11-storey Class A building located at ul. Marynarska 15 in Warsaw is the only building in this part of Mokotów district with three independent entrances/exits.
The total volume of the recent lease agreements covers 7,100 square meters, which makes up for 95% level of commercialization. The largest transaction has been closed with Alcon Polska, a leader on the market of ophthalmic medical devices, offering, among others, materials and equipment for ophthalmic surgery, contact lenses and lubricant eye drops. The company, which currently occupies approximately 2,000 square meters of the space in the office building, has decided to prolong the agreement and expand the leased space. Thanks to the new agreement, in 2021, Alcon Polska will expand its office by over 2,800 square meters (which will make up for a total of 4,800 square meters of space in New City). The agreement has been entered into for a period of five years until 2026. The remaining agreements concern companies from the IT, banking and pharmaceutical sectors.

The New City office complex composed of two high-class buildings: New City and New City 2, with a total area of over 44,000 square meters. This investment offers not only office space, but also retail and service space. New City includes a café, a restaurant, a fitness club and bicycle facilities.
Thanks to the environmentally friendly activities of the facility manager, in April this year New City obtained an extension of the prestigious BREEAM In-Use International certificate in the categories “Building Management” and “Asset” on the “Excellent” level.
The facility has fantastic exposure and is in the direct vicinity of the junction connecting the four major roads of Mokotów: Aleja Wilanowska and Marynarska, Wołoska and Rzymowskiego Streets. New City is the only facility in this section of Mokotów that has entrance roads from three sides (from Marynarska, Cybernetyki and Postępu). Numerous bus and tram stops nearby ensure fast and convenient access from all parts of the city.
