New Agreements and Extensions of Lease Agreements in New City
(WARSAW, POLAND) – Hines, the international real estate firm, has signed further agreements connected with the lease of space in New City, an office building located at 15 Marynarska Street in Warsaw. One of the agreements concerns the extension of the already leased office space. Thanks to another deal, to New City welcomed a new tenant – Lotte Chemical Poland. This brand is a subsidiary of Lotte Chemical Corporation, a global petrochemical company. Its main area of activity is the production and sale of everyday chemical products. The company’s office in New City will occupy 221,46 square meters of space. The lease agreement was signed for a period of five years.
A company which has decided to expand its office space in New City and extend the existing lease agreement is MSC Poland [“MSC”], the representative of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company – a world leader in container shipping. The brand currently has 480 offices in 155 countries and employs more than 47,000 people. One of the company’s branches in Poland has been based in New City since 2013. Thanks to the new agreement MSC will occupy a total of 472 square meters of space in the building.
‘We are very happy and satisfied about the fact that the offer of the New City complex continues to be appreciated by both long-term tenants of the building and completely new companies. Establishing cooperation with Lotte Chemical and extending the agreement with MSC Poland are not our first successful deals this year. In less than three months of 2019 we have managed to sign as many as four agreements concerning New City. I would like to thank all our tenants without whom this result would not have been possible,’ said Edyta Wołukanis, asset manager, Hines Polska.
New City is the office complex composed of two high-class buildings: New City and New City 2, with a total area of over 44,000 square meters. The building is located at 15 Marynarska Street in the centre of the office district in Mokotow – the largest business district in Warsaw. The facility has fantastic exposure and is in the direct vicinity of the junction connecting the four major roads of Mokotów: Aleja Wilanowska and Marynarska, Woloska and Rzymowskiego Streets. New City is the only facility in this section of Mokotow that has entrance roads from three sides (from Marynarska, Cybernetyki and Postepu). Numerous bus and tram stops nearby ensure fast and convenient access from all parts of the city.
